2018 Youth Illusional Art Competition, presented by ARTucation Summer Arts Camp

Kids of all ages will compete by grade groups following an instructional presentation about Illusional art.

Grade groups are limited to 25 per age group and divided by:

• 3-6 yr. olds
• 7-12 yr. olds
• 13-18 yr. olds

How Does the Competition Work?

• Students will compete by age groups and will be judged.
• Instructional presentation on learning to create colorful illusions
• Colored pencils & paper will be provided
• 3-6 yr. olds will have 20 minutes, and the older two age groups will each have 40 minutes to complete their masterpieces.
• A panel of judges will review entries at the end of each age category competition.
• 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners will be named within each age group
• Winners will be determined by the following criteria: 
  • Most Creative Masterpiece
  • Best color combination
  • Master Illusionist

What do the Winners Win?

• The 3-6 year old winners will receive:
  • 1st Place: A Trophy and a Small Art Kit
  • 2nd Place: A 2nd Place Medal, and Small Art Kit  
  • 3rd Place: A 3rd Place Medal, and Small Art Kit

• The 7-12 yr. old and 13 - 18 yr. old winners will receive:
  • 1st Place: A Trophy and a free week at 2019 ARTucation Summer Arts Camp
  • 2nd Place: A 2nd Place Medal, and 1/2 off at 2019 ARTucation Summer Arts Camp
  • 3rd Place: A 3rd Place Medal, and $45 off 2019 ARTucation Summer Arts Camp
