1^st through 12^th grades will compete by grade in 2 rounds of math problems.  The competition is limited to 15 competitors per grade.  The winner for each grade will be crowned the Math Champions!

Who Can Compete?
Any 1^st through 12^th grade student from any public, private and charter school or home-schooled in Central Ohio.

How does the Competition Work?
Students will compete by grade. Students will be given a picture and a series of math questions associated with that picture.  First one to answer the most questions in the shortest time wins.  answers will be documented on paper.  The top 5 students will move on to round 2.  In round 2, like round 1, a visual picture and associated questions of increasing difficulty will be provided.  First one to answer the most questions in the shortest time wins.  Winner will be named "Mathelete". 

What Do the Math Mania Champions Receive?
Within each grade, prizes will be awarded to:

1st Place: Trophy and 1 month free at STEM-U along with $10 gift card.

2nd Place: Medal and one free workshop at STEM-U.

3rd Place: Medal and one free workshop at STEM-U.

OTHER RULES & STIPULATIONS

• No crowd participation will be allowed.  If answers are provided to a student from a member of the audience, the student will be disqualified.
• Your submission will be accepted based in the order / time that you submit your registration.
• All rules are subject to modification or to be change without notice.
